Presentation
The agricultural property "Cal Canela" is submerged in the mountain range of Almenara and located at the base of the magnificent Pilar de Almenara (Pillar of Almenara), near the town of Almenara Alta.
It has two different houses and three independent spaces, with a total capacity for 24 persons. One of this houses is "El Bosquet", a building surrounded by impressive pine trees that has been renovated and decorated with all the elements necessary to provide a very pleasant stay (fireplace, terrace, exterior space…) It is designed to lodge a maximum of 8 persons.
The "Casa de l'Era" is the other building inside the property of Can Canela. It stands out, as indicated by its name, on the former threshing floor and it is structured in two levels. The upper part, "El Garbell", has a maximum capacity for 8 persons, the same as "La Trilla", that is located on the lower floor and which has a totally independent entrance. This spaces can be rented by one, two or three different groups of people; one in each independent space. The property has swimming pool and the former warehouse has been renovated (it was used to store the cereal harvested in the property). This space, "La Granera", together with the swimming pool and the garden, offer an ideal place for meetings of companies and entities, familiar celebrations and banquets.
The property Cal Canela is placed in a tranquil and solitary environment, but very well connected, where one can enjoy privileged views over the Pla of Urgell. The magnificent location is evident during the night, when from this natural stage one can see the lights of countless towns that spread on the zone. Little villages that keep a natural and architectural heritage (castles, millenary towns…) that are ideal for those people that wish to spend some days in direct contact with the world of living nature.
"La Granera"
Can Canela has a big hall to organize meetings of companies and entities, familiar celebrations and banquets: "La Granera". This antique warehouse is located in the garden, with the swimming pool next to it. The use of this space for celebrations can be combined with the lodging at "El Bosquet" and "La Casa de l'Era".
